He’s getting stranger in the night.

Stew Stacey is so tired of his dog, Frankie, getting all the attention. Stew can do Sinatra just as well as Frankie…if not better!

I’m not aware of anyone catapulting stones near the old lighthouse, although there have been reports of of dogs AND cats catapulting each other! Future Sheriff Monkeyblues has been notified and I’m sure he’ll investigate!

Stew bills himself as Sinatra lite. Frank done without the cigarette, whiskey, and nasty attitude.Plus, Stew can actually carry a tune.

As we mature our identities become more fixed, focused and directed….Until those Golden Years, when all hell breaks loose and we can’t remember minute to minute who we are, who we wanted to be and who cares. Stew is headed for James Dean on the weekends, Frankie, Ronald Reagan and “where’s the beef lady” throughout the week. Shirley is certainly pleased, they have been eating out a lot.

Perhaps if Stew changed his name.

That 15 Megaton Cat-apullt is indeed a WMD, and now they’re making Dog Pies, as well!! We have to do something to bring peace back to Ballard St. This is unacceptable! We’ll never attract new residents if we look like a war zone! And, we’ll never get you elected! Any ideas?

Well, I know I am new here and am no expert on these things but the way I see it (sitting above everyone in my very on lighthouse…so cool!) If you want to make this place less Beirut and more Mayberry, you have to go back and see that this has been coming on for some time now. Note just a few:

(I was scrolling down to your comment, and stopped…read it and noted the dog wagging his tail. I thought, “wherever does he get these great, animated pictures?” THEN, I scrolled a little further and saw the dog’s tail HITTING THE CAT!!!!!!!!!

Sinatra was a rotten human being with ties to the mob but he could sing.

Not really, my father met many. I did ‘meet’ both Helen Hayes and Lucille Ball but as I was less then a year old I didn’t really meet them. I do have the picture of Helen Hayes meeting with my mother in the hospital (My mother had polio) where I ‘met’ both these people.

To be honest, the people I have met over the Internet are all famous to me. And in some ways more of a friend then the ones we see face to face. I make a comment here and suddenly I am a neighbor. Albeit crazy mixed up neighbors but that suits me! Thanks for sharing.

but I still insist the man could sing. Man With the Golden Arm comes to mind.For singers who aged gracefully and kept their “pipes”, you can’t beat Mel Torme or Tony Bennet ( two of my favorites ). Ray Charles and Joe Williams were also pretty durable.I envy your heritage. Even as a teenager, although I had pretty catholic ( small c ) taste in music – everything from Broadway shows to Rock – my major love has been jazz . I grew up listening to my folk’s 78’s of Dorsey, Goodman, Ellington et al.
