You didn’t fail Carmen. Baldo needs to eat something other than home-cooked food once in a while.

Not just tripe, tongue too! Never eat anything with peristalsis or that can taste you back.

best taco’s I ever ate came off a roach coach in Chatsworth, CA circa 1975, where I worked while attending UCLA…awesome…I make pretty good ones but not as good as those in my memory…

We have a lot of great tacos and and and all the other kinds too…Chinese, even! here in NM…you get a chance, look the state over. I LIKE being able to see a hundred miles in any direction…did I mention the air’s clear? and you’ve maybe not seen the stars, all of them, lately…

Baldo stabbed her in the back, not only does he not like her cooking, which she’s GIVEN him for years…but he’s disloyal.In her eyes, certainly. I would doubt if she ever fixes him anything again…

Obviously, Baldo wasn’t going to be doing drugs, but this five-day joke is just pointless. Most high school kids try beer or wine, and if they had gone that route, they could have made a point about substance abuse and age limits without veering from Baldo’s good-natured character. Nothing heavy, just meaningful.

I made tacos today! Yum!
