Rereading a book reveals things you didn’t notice or didn’t pay attention to because they weren’t important then. Reading a book in my 20s and again in my 30s I saw different things because my world view had matured.

I read the Bible over every year. I’ve read the Lord of the Rings and The Chronicles of Narnia three times over. It’s gets more enjoyable every time.

As a kid, I read and re-read many of the Horatio Alger series.

That is a Hardy Boys story that I read as a kid in the late 50s.

Actually I think that’s the title of a Margery Allingham novel, the one where Albert Campion met his future wife as a teenager.
