“Failed” at being “not perfect” = being perfect. So, she was talking about the first time she was perfect?? Um….I’m confused…

By the way, absolutely beautiful background in panel one. Bravo, Dana!

And then, after making a beautiful background, Dana gets to completely leave it out for the other panels. Sneaky way to save on ink . . .

Reminds me of a very early Porky Pig cartoon. A young Porky goes to the movies. After a coming attraction, a message appears on the screen; “Don’t fail to miss it!” I must have seen this cartoon a hundred times before I realized that “Don’t fail to miss it” means “Miss it”.

The ZOOM feature is now active on Heavenly Nostrils!!!

    YAY!!!

I have gone back to the beginning (April, 22, 2012) to enjoy some of the comics in their original splendor.

But, you can make the pictures zoom even larger with this simple trick:

    1) Right-click on the comic and “Open image in New Tab”.

    2) Add the following string to the end of the URL in the address bar: ?width=2000.0

    3) You can change the width number to whatever size you like. The image will actually be rendered to the width you choose, rather than just magnifying a pixellated image.

Your URL should look similar to this:http://assets.amuniversal.com/e60275c0b571012fd707001dd8b71c47?width=2000.0

You can also use this string instead, if you want to specify the height:?height=2000.0

This trick also works on the other GoComics strips that do not have the ZOOM feature activated.

or you could simply toggle the + on a MAC for auto zoom. ([applecore control key] + [+ key]

shortcut that works on many web pages for PC is to hold the control key down while rolling the wheel between the left + right click switches on the mouse

Also very nice to see PHE sitting closer to the withers in panel one. Shoes flopping too close to that sensitive area around the hip bone have gotten many an amateur bucked off. Panel 2 seat is a big invitation to trouble. ?Can it a subliminal comment on when PHE is getting ready to act like a butt?

    A) Using the various zoom features on your computer just blows up the pixels. The zoom feature on the website, on the other hand, actually gives you more pixels.

    B) Well, pixels cost disk space, but that’s a bagatelle these days. (I have this thing that’s too small to be a self-respecting watch fob—and even at that, most of the bulk is in the plastic casing—and holds as much data as, at the onset of my career, would have taken up 16,000 devices, each one the size of a washing machine.)
