Bucky: I'm going this way now. We'll see who finds the magic bowl first. Codex: Very well. I have no jurisdiction over that direction. Bucky: You don't have it over any direction around here. Codex: Thanks be to salmon, I am technically accurate. Fare thee well, may fortune scritch your head like a man-handed lady. And verily, my quest to find my way out of this labyrinth now begins.

Is there a loony bin for cats? If not, maybe one should be created.

Maybe Salmon will send you a sign… if only you can recognize it! ( The mystery of the labyrinth has been pleasantly “tor-menting” me since the opening ceremonies.)

Thus setting a new record in weirdness, even for this strip.

Like many philosophers, the keeper of the late keeper has no idea where he is or what’s going on. Where I live, on the news you sometimes see someone being interviewed and they show the caption with Person’s Name: Philosopher. I always wonder, how much does that pay?

This is why you don’t keep cats locked up in the laundry room with a gas-heated clothes dryer.

Some cats have an excellent sense of direction.. I had an inherited cat who weighed 30 lbs. rescued from a shelter. He was originally called Fang because he used to bite, but I renamed him Obesius. I was determined to make a lap cat out of him and refused to give him up even though he wrapped his big paws around my leg and bit my leg every time I wanted to leave the room, so I had to learn to walk backwards. Despite the many bandaids on my legs, I used to punish him by picking him up and putting him in the bathroom, shutting the door and turning out the light, for about five minutes. After a while, if he got that crazy look in his eyes, he would walk into the bathroom by himself before I could put him there. I really loved that cat!

I would love to see him meet Chubby Huggs and then Chubby finds the bowl. Then he will reveal the location for the price of a never ending hug
