Rob bought him a smart phone, but it got lost in one of Satchel’s “Food or Not Food” contests. Yeah, he ate it…It still rings though……The ringtone is the Battle of New Orleans melody……..“In 1814, we took a little trip…”

They ran through through briers and they ran through the brambles and they ran through the bushes where the rabbits wouldn’t go…

Would dogs use Facebook, or would it be more like… you know… Buttbook? Instead of poking… sniffing?

Who fed Codex for the three weeks he was lost in Satch’s building? How about water? I’m worried about him. Or does he come from another planet where he doesn’t need food? I hope Darby explains.

Satchel’s expression and his comment in the second panel is priceless. “You’d know him by smell.” Hahahahah!!!

This is why I love this strip despite the occasional long dry spells (which are made tolerable by the always-gorgeous artwork).

Loving this story line and, as usual, the comments are just as entertaining.

cats will find a leaking tap somewhere – laundry room? Where there is a stray cat, for some reason, someone will leave food out at least sometimes.

And all along I thought I knew everything. But no, I’m going to need some help with “arc”. It seems to relate to the thread or topic; but, I’d love to know its origin (and meaning). Thanks all.

Aside: this thread is (almost) better than the series on soccer and diving.
