Transcript:
The Golden Poison Dart frog found within Guyana's Kaieteur National Park spends its entire life within a single, giant bromeliad plant! William Lawlis Pace of Turlock, Calif., USA, was accidentally shot in the head by his brother in 1917, and carried the bullet in his head for more than 94 years until his death in April 2012! Mars' unique atmosphere results in its blue sunsets, unlike the red ones we have on earth!

Love the Martian reversal.Just imagine Pace’s survivalist bragging. “Yeah, let’s see how well YOU think with a bullet in your head!”

For Martian sunsets, the best simple explanation I have found in a quick search is at: http://io9.com/5717358/why-martian-sunsets-are-blue

If the bullet is still in his head than it wouldn’t be just carried “until he died” now would it?

Does that frog have agoraphobia or is it just provincial?
Puddleglum2 over 12 years ago
I know the frog is just suited to its limited environment. :o)

It must be really hard on that frog when it’s still a tadpole, having to swim around on a leaf all day.

If one frog spends it entire life on one plant. how does it reproduce ?

Didn’t William Lawlis Pace suffer headaches from that bullet in his head?

Imagine how much longer Mr Pace would have lived if not for that injury.
