Making him read it to the class sounds like something nuns would do in Catholic schools when I was a kid.

And yet I bet it felt as though he’d been up there forever, no matter how short the presentation.

Sadly, I remember such experiences — ridacule was supposed to motivate us.

I had a history teacher who would never allow kids to laught, taunt, or bully another student. I understand teachers won’t permit that today. I hope all the Charlie Brown’s in the world today are getting a fair chance. I hope too they find themselves.

Interesting – he wrote “I played ball, and I went to camp.”, but he read “I went to camp, and I played ball.”
