Frazz by Jef Mallett for August 29, 2012
Transcript:
Girl: I got a little ice cream on my white shorts. Frazz: "A little"? Let's find Stacy. Girl: Is Stacy a cleaner? With Bleach? Frazz: No. He's an illustrator. With about a thousand markers. Frazz: Including berrylicious. Girl: Ah! Then we only need about a square inch worth.

Iâve done this. I accidently got a little bleach spatter on a favorite black cotton top. Sharpie to the rescue! I can still wear it! :)

So something that could simply be washed out becomes a permanent stain when they color it with the marker. Brilliant solution, Frazz.

Hey kids, letâs play nice..This trick works well on shoes with scuff marks also. Or palin shoes you want to jazz up a little. I remember the $10 Traxx tennis shoes. Letâs just say I was a poor kid, with a marker and too much time on my hands. :-)

I didnât know Stacy could be a manâs name.

Stacy is the guy who was helping Richard Thompson ink the Cul de Sac comic after his Parkinsonâs slowed him down.
And Stephen â guess youâre too young to remember Stacy Keach (Mike Hammer)?

My sister would embroider flowers around tiny holes clothes would get. Looked pretty cool. I use the sharpie and duct tape methods myself.

I could be wrong, but I thought Stacy was a commonly used masculine name long before it became popular for girls. .And I think Frazz is kidding. Iâm sure he wouldnât wand to face the motherâs ire for using a marker on those stained white shorts.

I think Stacy is a great name for a man. Especially when that man has a twin brother named Tracy, like I do. :-)

Remember, John Wayneâs name was originally Marion.
