    Aw, poor Marm. Come over to my house, and bring your favorite toys. We’ll play together all day, and I’ll put a smile back on your face in no time!

    What’s Buffy’s is Buffy’s, and what’s your’s is Buffy’s. That’s the deal.

    @Marm

    Know you’re feeling some remorse over your actions, but, hey, this strip has your name on it, and you call the shots around here. You’re also big enough to do as you damn well please.

    It was meant to be in fun, and thought you would take it as such, but unfortunately, you took it seriously.Will not “harass” you any further. Sorry.

    Hey gmartin, I think you’re all wet as to Marm and damage. I had two St. Bernards and they were wherever I was (usually in the house) and never caused any damage. The same can’t be said for my nieces and nephews.

    Thank you, my friend, for this great post. They wouldn’t tell lies, even if they WERE capable of doing so. Our four-legged friends have a true nobility of character, which we bipeds could only wish for. They are our TEACHERS. God gifted us with them.Canine-Americans? Love this. Will forever think of them as this. You loved a Great Dane, and personally have loved German Shepherds, German Shepherd mixes, and a few mixed breeds. Will forever miss them. Thank you for your great post, and can understand your sense of loss.

    Thank you for your sensitivity and thoughtfulness! As with you, my dear souls are still in my heart! Love- as in the words of a Forester Sisters song of long ago, we can take it with us when we go-the only thing we can take with us when we go.
