Hey, stop beating up on Calvin’s parents! They do love him as shown in several strips.. the little raccoon strips ..Dad making a snowman with him when he was swamped with work.. Mom not letting him ride his tricycle on the roof grin.. when Calvin wrecked the car moving it to make room for G.R.O.S.S. Mom (after she caught up with him) tells him she was more concerned about him than what happened to the car.. etc. etc. etc. Sure, they don’t always know what to do with a hyperactive genius with an extraordinary imagination, but that doesn’t mean they don’t love him!
