Mouse airdrop! To reduce the number of invasive snakes on the island of Guam, authorities parachute mice into the jungle that have been laced with acetaminophen- which is lethal to the snakes! Amir Mohammad Afridi of Pakistan put so much effort into maintaining his elaborate mustache that his former hometown of Banna paid him a stipend to maintain it! During the weekend of the Kentucky Derby horse race at the Churchill Downs racetrack in Louisville, KY., USA, the bars serve nearly 120,000 mint julep cocktails!

If another animal eats the mice, his headache goes away.

Those snakes have been a headache for years. The Tylenol should ‘work like a charm’!

Okay, once they remove all the snakes, what will take their place as ridders of vermin? What will take care of the mice that breed? Will they have to bring in cats? Then who controls that cats?Mess with an ecosystem at your own peril.

Amir Muhammad Afridi is a monument to the notion that if you can excel at something useless, you can find someone gullible enough to pay you for it.

Run the Kentucky Derby ten times (ten different days) and the winners would probably be different each day. All probability. After all, what’s in it for the horses?
tuslog64 over 12 years ago
OK, certain horses would probably be #1 multiple times, but would probably never be two lists of #1 through #5 the same.
