Wish the artist would make the captions in a smaller “font.” Looks like the characters are shouting at one another. Blame the internet I guess.

Out of Sherpa finally! It’s about time, Beardo is defintiely good enough to be on the regular list! Congratulations!

Wow! First off, let me say how happy I am to be moving up to the big leagues. Thanks for all the love, everyone. This really means a lot to me, and rest assured, there’s a LOT more Beardo to come.

And I understand the font size has been a subject of debate for awhile. Dave Hussell and Nighthawks pretty much said it: I had to make it that size due to the shrinking size of the newspaper section, my elder readers and those with bad eyesight (myself included!) would have a hard time with it. However, as I get closer to the point where I’ve posted all the strips I’ve already made, I am going to make a point to try and find a balance in size. Heck, this is the internet, we can do whatever we want here!

To sum it up, proud to be a part of this, and stay tuned, Beardo is 1,000 strips deep and has only just begun!

Dan’s just thinking ahead. Keep in mind that we’re all looking at the strip on some sort of magical electronic device. If the strip is picked up for print, the format will be tiny and normal comic strip font would be hard to read. Sadly, I’ve never been able to find the “Embiggen” button on my daily paper.

Congrats on the move from Sherpa. I’ve been reading over there since the beginning.

Also, I’ve noticed some familiar names here and I want to make a point in saying “thank you” for reading this long, you’re a big part of the reason they bumped me up here!

DAN, I have never seen this strip before, just decided to click on the banner to see what it is about. I like an Artist/Cartoonist who replies to his fans, so you SIr, have already won me over! Adding to my queue, which is already too big! :-D

AND SAY, don’t make the print TOO SMALL! “I’s wears glasses too”, and my eyesight ain’t what it used to be!
