Tough question, Tony, to which the standard answer is usually Casablanca. However, War Of the Worlds was a memorable sci-fi, Arsenic & Old Lace a great commedy, The Great Escape a great war film and Rudy was my favorite sports film. But I’ve got other favorites as well.
As Plods stated, I will ask as well. How old is old? “Stand By Me” (1986), “The Great Escape”, “The Birds”, “Kelly’s Heroes”, “The Thin Man”, “The Parent Trap” (ORIGINAL), “Zulu”, and so forth. Not too old, but all the “Lord of the Rings”.
How could I have forgotten to list “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World”! The greatest classic comedians and comediennes in one movie! Only Lucille Ball was missing.
Speaking of great comedians, any John Candy movie is a classic!
I have many favs. I totally love the films of Ken Russell and I also love some Fellini films such as Citta de Damas and Mulier/Amante. Those were great.

I think I recall falling asleep at “The Lion, Witch and Wardrobe” on video (if Tony’s gonna ask if we’ve ever fallen asleep at some movie.)
