When I see a cow, I quickly roll up the windows and make sure the vents are closed as well.

Madeline says “moo”—not we. Alice says boring, Petey snarks quack, and Mr. Otterloop tries to keep the lid on.Three wins and one loss.

When we traveled, we were always on the lookout for unusual livestock. “I never saw a purple cow. I never hope to see one. But I can tell you anyhow I’d rather see than be one.”

Richard. we will miss you so much! Your sense of humor and your little characters are so adorable and clever. I really like the toddler with the kiddie car, as well as Alice and Petey. I wish illness didn’t happen. At least you will probably draw for fun as much as you can. that is what is really all about. I started drawing when I was 2 and kept t up, but never did anything with it.But you have all those wonderful comics!

I second everything Wabbit said. It’s been a fun ride.Speaking of riding and boring, they should be glad they aren’t traveling through the desert.

One of my all time favorites! I relate to Petey more than I do to any other character in any form of media! (Bucket head Kevin is a semi-distant second, however. Especially when he was practicing clapping game time and kept missing.)

That was a nice tribute at Frog Applause. I am anxiously awaiting my Team Cul de Sac book which I ordered from Amazon! It is so nice to see the camaraderie among those competing in the same field. I also ordered some others of Richard’s books. I started reading this comic out of curiosity at first. The first couple ones I read didn’t really appeal to me. Then one day, and I forget which particular strip it was, but I laughed so hard I almost choked! Seriously! From that point on, I was hooked! For the past couple of years, my day to day calendar at work has been Cul de Sac. I will miss Richard’s original strips, but SO GLAD he will allow us to revisit this wonderful place! And I hope that one day sooner than later he can return to doing what he loves! Hang in there Richard! I admire your strength and courage! You are in my prayers.
