The fan man! 82-year-old M. Natarajan- a Hindu devotee from Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India, has spent every day of the past 52 years fanning the visitors of local temples to help keep them cool!

No comment needed.. Except that even post industrial neo-slaverism era, the Portuguese and Spanish still do short nights, and nap during the day. South of Italy too, in a lesser extent.The idea is to definitely not work during the hot hours of the early afternoon.

Can’t they afford central air conditioners for those temples in India? I heard pioneers went to bed soon after the evening meal and were up just before dawn.
