Does everything have to be so damned high tech these days? You paid good money for the toaster, and can’t afford to pay for compatible bread.Take the toaster back to MallWart and demand a cash refund.
Not as ridiculous as it sounds – they make bread in all kinds of different sizes and shapes, and cramming in too big a slice might be bad for the toaster.
No, that would be the iToaster, and you have to buy a $10 loaf of ‘artisan’ bread, that you can only get at a “Hipster” store in the core of the city you live in.Also, the toaster is $500 (yet, it does the exact same thing, as the ones found at WalMart for $10).
I remember when I was about 8 or 9 years old we had a two slice toaster that only toasted bread on one side, you had to open the toaster and turn the slices over to toast the other side.

My WalMart $8 toaster doesn’t care which kind of bread I put into it—it won’t work no matter what!

As Chris Kenworthy intimated, trying to toast a bagel in a narrow-slot toaster could definitely qualify as “incompatible.”

Not every piece of bread is in harmony with a toaster. Maybe its time for a divorce and get a toaster oven Ziggy!
