My kind of strip today.Nothing quite like a pie in the face to induce a little humility. For those into real marksmanship with pies, would like to recommend a viewing of the undisputed experts in airborne pies:“The Three Stooges Pie Fight (1941)”at youtube.Just think of stimulating local economies by launching pies like this nationwide. And the satisfaction you’ll get when letting local politicians have it.

I was trying to figure out what happened to the clown’s thumb between panel 2 and 3. My guess would be it is folded down behind his hand, thus hidden from view. Either that or Broomie is zapping him one digit at a time.

The first comedic pie in the face was the 1909 Essanay Studios silent film “Mr. Flip” played by Ben Turpin. He was fresh with a woman & got his just desserts, literally.
