And after you have waited thru those long hours, they tell you that the paperwork you have brought to prove who you are is not acceptable and you must go home, get more paperwork, come back and repeat the waiting process all over again.

People think the Soviet Union ceased to exist in 1991 … it lives on at the Registry of Motor Vehicles! (Although I must say here in Massachusetts it has gotten much more efficient lately, and they’re much politer.)
