I knew a crazy artist who always did this!
Sent half-finished work to be juried…. it was different by the time he brought it back to be hung…Local galleries for a while were indulgent when he came in and re-framed or painted over his already hanging work. But then he got in an altercation with security someplace when he was “caught” drawing on one of his paintings…he’s now been banned from most shows.Sad cos he’s good…. but unable to cope.
