Great horoscope today! Oh, yeah? What's going to happen? I'm not sure. They're never that specific. ...But something's going to make this a five star day!
That was a quote from a sunday strip from Big Nate. He was looking at interesting things during a soccer game. He got hit with the ball, and he said that.
my day was horribel. i found out why im kept back. it turns out i DO have dyslexia. i hate dysabilities. :( no wonder i spell except and expect the other way, no wonder i cant spell do maths and do reading compreehensions. i’m such a loser.
James, I was born in December and I was one of the oldest in my class. My brother was 2 years younger, but my parents forced him into 1st grade when I was in second at our private school, and he was always the baby and ended up anti social. My dad thought it was great, but it wasn’t even though he is a college graduate, he is still very uncomfortable around people. Being older helps a lot. I hope that you are in a school system that understands your disability – you do need some help, but just the fact that you wrote here means you are smart.
At you all – @Feed Me Comics!I had to repeat a grade, because I didn’t pay attention. What did it cost me, nothing. It made me pay attention and excell in my life. Although, I had to learn the hard way, along the way. Retired SGM and Retired FBI.
Dyslexia isn’t a disability, it is merely a challenge. What it will teach you is to work at things. I had a principal say to me once, “Give me a C student over an A or B because that person will learn how to work. The ones where everything comes easy will not know how to study.” I was one of the latter and never excelled at anything. It did me a disadvantage when I got to university and really had to work hard at it all.The dyslexia doesn’t make you a loser, either.
