I grew up in Los Altos… the third panel is historically inaccurate. Los Altos had no sidewalks in front of the houses and we weren’t required to put our trash cans out. The trash men came into our back yards and hauled the trash all the way out to their trucks.
And let us not forget the man who started the personal computer universe and gave Bill Gates and Tim Allen their start: ED ROBERTS of MITS and his Altair.
1977: I was madly in love with John Denver. Plus I couldn’t go a week without seeing Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, Three’s Company, Eight Is Enough, and Welcome Back Kotter.
