After watching the roadrunner cartoons for years…everyone should know that objects can appear out of nowhere for most cartoon charactores, e.g. signs, anvils ect..Why couldn’t knives? LOL
Once again Stephen tempts fate. Even on my monitor my eyes made those words in the 2nd panel kern funny. And once it’s reduced to fuzzy newsprint … I can just see the letters.
Oh, Stephan knew what he was doing here. “Click” would have been just as effective, the F-U kerning pair is one cartooning’s no-no items. I always wondered what would happen to the poor fool who lettered “CLINT” Eastwood a little too closely.
Reminds me of a story (that’s probably just an urban legend):On his TV show, Soupy Sales did a bit where he was showing cards with letters on them to a puppet, who was reading them aloud; A, B, etc. When Soupy held up the F card, however, the puppet said “K,” and Soupy said, “What’s wrong with you? When I show you F, you see K!”
I suspect that Snuffles is going down. Afterall, with all the bomb plots, his hand to hand skills have fallen off pretty dramatically…Snuffles has put on a few pounds since his younger days too…

Maybe they were just reenacting West Side Story.

The way Mr. Snuffles has been tormenting that orange cat, I’m surprised it took us this long to see Ginger snap!

Arianne…. you are one sharp cookie!
Alexi… I’d say wherever cats have pockets to carry them and zebras talk.
I think you’re going to have to loosen your grip, sir.
And Mechanic, I answered you yesterday.

Before clicking on the image to enlarge the strip, I thought I saw 2 bad words in the 2nd panel. Oh, the controversy!

Cats already have built in “flick knives.” 5 on each paw. They’re called retractile claws. Very effective in my experience!
Sisyphos about 12 years ago
Here’s what I learned today: Never bring a flick knife to a cat fight! Meow! Mine stays in the desk drawer most of the time, anyway….

Hillbillyman… it’s officially called “hammerspace.” Honestly.

Is it just me, or does this plot line seem a little familiar(i.e. Garfield-Nermal). Of course Stephan does put his own unique twist on it.
