I’m sure “when the bough breaks, the cradle will fall”, the cradle’s mattress break’s the baby’s fall.

This is why Baby always can’t sleep at night.

Good one Baby, I really think that nursery rhymes is not made for children.

My kids always thought that one was fun because I lowered them on something soft and cushy and they bounced around.

My mom changed the wording a bit:

“when the bough breaks, the cradle will fall…but Mom will catch Baby, cradle and all.”

Must say, I liked that ending much better.

Sorry little man.

I ended it with “and Daddy will catch you, cradle and all.”

I’m pretty sure it will land on something soft.

I never thought about that. That’s a TERRIBLE nursery rhyme! That’ll give the baby nightmares about falling!
