Woman: Hurry! Here comes the director! Surprise, Ms. Overdunne! We had our pinata made to look just like you! Man: Smack it! Woman: Smack it! Other man: Here! Use my cane! Miss Overdunne: I guess I'm honored...
Don’t get me started on Cinco de Mayo. Suffice it to say that it is NOT an American holiday and people here have no real business celebrating the day. Another holiday I’d like to see them axe would be Columbus Day because Columbus didn’t really discover America. He discovered an island or two in the Carribean and turned around without ever seeing or setting foot on the mainland, and he thought he’d found China. Pretty poor navigation, if you ask me, and undeserving of a holiday.
When I was in grammer school in late 30’s we celebrated May Day. We did not know we were going to “war” with Russia after they took May Day baskets of flowers and moved to parades of soldiers

One might ask who piddled in Dampwaffles’s cereal bowl, but we have since learned that was not syrup that dampened the waffles.
