Boone: Dusty... I think I found an agent who'll insure your Caddy. Her name is Opal Miner. Here's her number... Dusty: Mighty grateful, Boone! Woman: So... what kind of insurance you lookin' for on this rig, cowboy? Dusty: Just protection from damage from falling trees, floods, meteorites, Miss Miner. Woman: Hmm... I don't like the looks of those cinder blocks. You don't rotate them. I can tell. Dusty: Well... that's true, Miss Miner. Woman: Tell you what, Dusty! Get yourself some new cinder blocks and I'll write you a policy. Dusty: That's an old car for you... it'll nickel and dime you to death!

I would assume that you’d have chunk of plywood or some other means of distributing the load across the top of the block. But either way, a block can fail without warning, and is NOT recommended for supporting a car – at least, not one that you’d work under.
