PRINCE VALIANT: I’ve always loved the “Prince Valiant” stri[, but I think the plots are getting too similarly-themed. Oh, well, I’ll follow this arc out to the end.
REX MORGAN: What fun!!! It would have been booooring to just watch Rex & June drop their luggage and go to lunch. Honey’s name reminds me of the old Jimmie Rogers’ tune: “Oh, Honeycomb, won’t you be my baby…”JUDGE PARKER: Sam makes his comment (shades of Al Capone). And Avery talks about “grow rooms,” Here in So. Fla. we have growhouses…a recent crime news article mentioned that South Florida is the growhouse capital of the nation and compared the the drug dealers running growhouse networks to the cocaine cowboys of the 80s (think “Miami Vice”). MARK TRAIL: I like the comment about people (mistakenly) attributing human emotions to wild creatures. MARY WORTH: In the last panel, Jim’s emotions seem to have suddenly changed – did he lose someone, perhaps his father, in the ferry accident that took his arm?
Rex Morgan – This looks like an interesting development.Judge Parker – So, what’s Avery going to do about it?Prince Valiant – Arye, I’m reading it too, and feel it ran out of soap weeks ago.Mandrake – We have a Sunday Mandrake strip!
When I went to azcentral, all I got were adds for dailyink, so I went back to jsonline.Mandrake -Is this a vintage strip?Judge Parker – What about being an accomplice and having property seized? Sam, an attorney, is an officer of the court, and can’t overlook this like Avery can.Rex – Interesting development. Name sounds like an exotic dancer’s stage name.Prince Valiant – I’d like to see this move along to a resolution – Lord Grunyard restored to health and to his fiefdom.
Florchi, I just read your movie review, thanks for sharing! I look forward to seeing this movie for the first time and reading the novel. My library has no Ponicsan novels and very few films that he’s credited on, mostly as a cowriter. I am currently over the limit of items checked out so ILL will have to wait.

REX MORGAN: There goes Res and June’s privacy and enjoyment: Junior has installed a “friend” in what is supposed to be an empty apartment.
MARY WORTH: What does Jim mean by his thought?

REX MORGAN: if he’s been letting someone live in Melissa’s apartment and not collecting rent, he’s stolen services from her and should be fired.
