How about a lease plan?

The poor guy in the original is going off to war thinking that the woman he’s spent so much time with has no feeling for him. What’s he got to come back to?

In today’s version the moral is that you don’t have to do either.

A lady frined of mine and I used to play a game of one-upsmanship on this theme like:Women, can’t live with them, but they are usually too quick to take out with a bow and arrow.Men, can’t live with them, but digging a hole to bury them in will often cause you to break a nail.

Should be:

Women! Can’t live with ‘em. Can’t live with ’em.

Actually you can afford to “rent” the company of some very nice women. Much cheaper than marriage, etc. It’s business, whether it’s marriage or otherwise, so get used to it. See the graphic novel “Paying For It” by Chester Brown.

Why are Hurricanes named for Women? Because when they first show up they’re Wet, Wild and kinda Exciting….And when they Leave you’re Soaked, Confused and half your stuff is Missing!

Perhaps he could talk with a counsellor and listen to whatever advice is offered. Women aren’t that difficult to understand if the male takes the time to listen to her and to change his ways if necessary. Oftentimes, the woman will realize she is expecting far to much of her male partner and change what really annoys him.
