Actually, watched what the directors at different networks were doing, in the long shots, vast numbers of white faces in the crowd at the Democratic convention, but closeups picked out “darker” faces, or “others”, repeatedly. At Tampa, it was pretty much white bread, but not surprising.
The fact, sad, is that since Obama’s first campaign, a lot of “old school” (old fart) Democrats, as well as Republicans were “upset” by well, gee, his “sprinting ability”. Yes, LBJ did bring dramatic change in the alignment of the parties with the Civil Rights Act, and sadly, again, bigotry isn’t dead, nor is it totally “non-paritsan” either.
“Still no one mentioning the three times a lie voting they did…”I didn’t see any of the “conservative” cartoonists cover the fact the Republican leadership had their rules changed so they can later override decisions voted on at the convention.
^Assuming your talking about the “God” vote? With only a relative trickle of delegates on the floor, and national news coverage, it WAS more than a bit of embarrassment to do a voice vote, on an “issue” that shouldn’t have even come up.
My concern is, how many times does “God”, or for that matter, “Jerusalem”, appear in the U.S. Constitution?
Nice alternate reality where you live. Check your facts with anything other than FOX (and even they initially said that Ryan had his ‘facts’ confused.) and you might learn a little more about the world.
It has always fascinated me how Obama is always viewed as a black man even though his mother was white. Looks like most folks believe the Grand Wizard was right. “All it takes is one drop of black blood.”
Arab Democrats??? Seriously? There are some Democrats who feel that keeping religious declarations out of government policy is a good idea. Most of them are Christians, who agree with the Founding Fathers about not establishing government sponsored religions. It’s bad for government, it’s worse for people of faith.
Here are the numbers compared: http://atlantablackstar.com/2012/09/07/black-influence-on-democratic-party-is-far-greater-than-republican-party/2% of RNC delegates were black. 26% of DNC delegates were black.
another difference….rnc convention was a strokefest for the rich and corporate, a pda. dnc convention, the strokefest was behind closed doors and back rooms.

This panel just shows how racist, radical, and just how extremely ignorant the GOPers are. Thanks for reminding us!

This is simply not true. THE DNC had a delegate selection that mirrors the diversity of our population. THE RNC did not.
