Whatcha working on? Book report. Done! Um... Are you sure that's what your teacher is expecting? Probably not, but I'm hoping to get credit for originality.
Even now I read read read. Book reports as a kid were no big deal. Sometimes we had to do spoken book reports. Those were a little harder for the shy. I’m not shy.
Had a middle school experience similar to Dry’s. I was terrified to speak before the class but gave an oral book report perfectly. Because my voice was so soft, the teacher asked me to repeat it to be sure all the class heard it and my mind went totally blank, but no one laughed. This was back in the 40s but I still will not speak in public.

It is very original. That deserves at least a few points.

I don’t get it.

Me thinks the chances of winning with “originality” is not going to happen.

I did about four book reports and I did really well. And no i did not just look and measured the book and reported it, ;)
