Yep, normal behavior for lots of them that age. Our six-year-old is still at it. Her mom puts her foot down, but Iāll often let her layer (but summery dress goes under the layers)..
At least itās better than the bevavior of some of her siblings, who have to be corralled to get out of dirty, torn clothes, take a bath, wash hair and get tangles out.
Iām kinda of the live and learn type of mom,ā. when my son threw a fit about wearing a jacket in the middle of fall, I said; fine, but donāt complain if your cold. He didnāt throw many fits about wearing a jacket later.
