@gmartin997Flo and Andy don’t appear to have discovered the modern invention of drop cloths, either……Although Andy did put down a few papers in one of the classic strips. Today’s is ironically more in character for Andy than the one where he took exception to Flo’s “helpful” comments! I mean, just LOOK at all that strain Andy is putting on his dart arm!

My dad recently took down wallpaper and painted after he and my mom separated. She’d been asking him to do it for years.

Here’s an idea, Glue Andy to the wall and put the wall paper over him. Nice modern art touch!

Yeah…. Any excuse, Andy.

Nosy away, girl. He was told that the doc would see him again by the end of the year. No emergency there. Omg….just heard the first Christmas Commercial…it was on the radio of all places….for the Trans Siberian Orchestra….they will be in the Twin Cities Christmas Eve…while it might be nice to go there and listen, I think I will do it on the stereo…there will be icy roads, cold as all get out weather, and idiots driving that have no clue…I think I should order a case of Stoli…a cooked goose…a case of cranberry juice and a few bottles of Asti Spumante and stay home and get in the spirit of the season my own way!,,,ok, you can leave out the Asti… and the vodka…but I will still get in the season my own way…I am not about to face down the winter kill season on the roads!

besides, I want to give myself a trip to the U.K. for Christmas…I cant imagine what it will be like in London on the 23rd and 24th…then Christmas day and Boxing day…I might just feel like Charles Dickens is beside me egging me on to enjoy the day!

Painting is a lot easier. Takes too long to take off the old wallpaper to replace it with new.

ok, off to a neighborhood cookout and end of summer party…I am furnishing Fleetwood Mac, Moody Blues, Bruce Springsteen and Stevie Ray Vaughn as well as the Fabulous Thunderbirds for music..and my famous (locally) apple walnut cake, and sliced tomatoes still warm from my garden…enjoy your saturday night everyone! Dance like no one is watching because basically no one is besides yourself!!
