I think we all need to live—or at least visit—the Humane Society.

Serious comic. You took “A picture is worth 1000 words” to a new level.

And getting worse…

No matter how hard you try, you can’t fix everybody. Especially those who don’t want to exert any effort to be “fixed” the way you think they should be fixed.

Ouch!

Where kindness is lacking, cruelty fills the void. Let’s not leave space for cruelty.

There used to be a tv show called Lucky Dog, where a person would go to a shelter, pick the dog they wanted to rescue, and then the dog trainer would go pick the dog up and take it back to his ranch and train it. Then, he would take the dog back to its new home fully trained. It’s a shame we can’t or don’t do that with people.

I really hate the trolls that feel it’s perfectly fine to trash the new administration; making this their political platform. This is a great strip today and has nothing to do with either party. The real problem in our country is what to do about the mentally ill and the homeless.

Bundle up, it’s cold out there.

and getting more inhumane by the day…

If everyone invited a homeless person to live with them there would likely still be lots of homeless people to replace them.

I’ve always said we’re more humane to animals than to humans, go figure.
