I feel like Alice has been getting bossier and bossier these days. Of course she was always bossy but I think she hasn’t been cut down a notch for a while (and the recent illness clearly has had no dampening effect whatsoever).

Can pangolins whistle the Dick Van bleeep Show theme, because this cartoon is an homage to the “Odd But True” episode, which is a parody of the cartoon Ripley’s Believe it Or Not.

(That “bleeep” is part of a name pronounced the same as the work “dike” but w/ a “y” replacing the “i”. Working around the censorbots is so much fun.)

If I ever have a kid, I hope it’s just like Alice.

It’s so hard to deal with the fact that your brilliant idea isn’t getting the reception you thought it would. Though Alice needs a time out, I can definitely feel for her.

We don’t have a TV and my wife hasn’t had one since she was a kid, but she knows all of the jingles from those early years. I wonder if she will be surprised when I refer to her as my cute little pangolin.

Actually, hard science has not confirmed any of the beliefs about pangolins that Alice was talking about today, which is probably why Miss B felt compelled to edit her presentation.

Up until two moments ago I had thought pangolins were imaginary.

    But they are not.

I’ll bet Alice was excited by Nara’s first duck-shaped potato!

I always try to get my kids to take oddly-shaped potatoes to school for show and tell. They’ve never taken me up on it. They did take my rock that looks like a pig nose, however.
