Alice: What are you playing? Petey: It's called "Fidgety Digits." I'm going to play it in a recital next month. Alice: Wow! I've never seen you drool so much! Petey: Maybe if i ate crackers right before I played it'd help.
Makes me think of my daughter’s dumping the “water” out of her horn (French horn, for the noncognoscenti), a practice which entails lowering it out of the audience’s line of vision and executing a half-turn to dump the stuff onto the floor. Yargh.
