Bug Eyed Shirley

She has to be very careful here. If she shows she’s afraid of the puppy and Kevin has to come take it elsewhere so she can go back inside, then she will be in Kevin’s debt. She would hate that.

I am disappointed that the puppy hasn’t got a bucket shaped head as I would love to have heard Alice’s comments on that one.

Reminds me of the time when I was a kid and saw one of those tiny dogs at a friend’s house. I asked him “Why is that mouse barking?”

God’s greatest gifts usually go “Wirf” or “Mew” (Sometimes “Whinny”)…

In a Tom & Jerry cartoon I saw this morning Jerry mail-ordered a bulldog to deal with Tom. When it arrived, it was Jerry’s size – but no less a danger to Tom.

Really, this is the puppy they were all googly-eyed over.

Alice can’t win, in her own mind. She’s afraid of Big Shirley because she’s big. Now, she’s afraid of Kevin’s little wirf wirf puppy because it’s little and yappy.

Looks like Alice is cynophobic….
