I remember having a guinea pig in second/third grade (family’s own, not the classroom’s). Not sure I remember it being that yappy nor prone to shedding.

It’s simply outrageous for someone of my intellect and stature to be paraded around in a child’s toy by a mammalian subspecies!

Nice to see Mr. Danders again. Always liked him. He is the only character who matches Ernesto in pompousness. Do you hear me Ernesto—I’m tolking to you!

It makes me wonder if anyone can hear the guinea pig talking, or is purely from our entertainment? :)

I dunno about yappy rodents but we have a yappy little dog …

The guinea pig is as large as an actual pig.

Ahh, Mister Danders. he can’t get no respect.

Mister Danders is one of my favorite characters in this strip. Will be glad to enjoy his intellect and wit for the next few days. (Odd thing to say about a rodent)

One of my first technical assignments at the university was to check out the daycare’s pet guinea pig and find out what was wrong with him, That was easy — he was pregnant!

In this case, I’d take my stand with Marcus’s Mom.

Mr. Danders is in too many ways like the Uh-Oh Baby: a portent of evil!
