Those of us with older brothers, like Dill, would already know that it doesn’t work to close your eyes…(and I wonder if they’re names are Sweet and Kosher?)
We had a dog who would sneak into a room and raid the wastebasket when no one was there. Later in life he went blind and would still stick his nose in the trash even when someone was there, on the theory that if he couldn’t see you, you couldn’t see him.
