When clothes selection was taking too long, I would grab the family laundry basket and start calling “Bring out your dead. Bring out your dead.” with some Python “It’s dead enough.”
Gotta go with equal opportunity hater on this one. The two jobs in the house that are never finished. All the dishes and clothes can be clean, but at the end of the day, you still have dirty clothes and dishes.
Laundry mostly me; we split the dishes, especially when I go straight from work to one rehearsal or another and bring my lunch and supper dishes home to soapy water in the sink.
The only time I’ve had regular access to a dishwasher was when I shared a house in college. Our concensus was that it was only good for sanitizing the dishes after handwashing them.

I always stay on top of my dishes and laundry. My vacuuming, not so much.

At the moment, since it is a Snow Day for me, I am doing both! I actually don’t mind doing either.

In my experience that never works. It just compresses all the stench of the clothing above onto the clothing below.
