Thanks, but no thanks. There are times when being a vegetarian is very helpful. (Yes, I’ve had it, and yes, it’s akin to eat rubber bands. Scallops are erasers.)

Not anymore. Too far from the ocean to get any decent seafood.

Squid can be pretty bad, & it’s sad if that’s all you’ve had. Done right, several ways, it’s great. Calimari’s octopus, haven’t tried it, but the same probably applies. I’ve seen more octopus in pet stores, probably easier to breed.

Local Restaurant here has a Calamari Caesar Salad, that is just wrong wrong wrong,

@Tony I could never bring myself to taste squid. I love shrimp, lobster and a couple types of fish.

@Tony:I’ve had calamari and it’s OK. I used to use squid for bait when I went fishing in Chesapeake Bay.

I’m not a fan of squid, but the stingrays at the zoo are. We went last week and were lucky enough to hit feeding time twice in the same day. A baby squid was one of the items I fed them. It was worth the yuckyness..The Avant Gauche reminds me of the recent attempts that Über has made to enter into the St. Louis area. They don’t think their drivers need drug testing or background checks. That comic hits the nail on the head Tony.
