    Hot Toddy

Pour the honey, boiling water, and whiskey into a mug. Spice it with the cloves and cinnamon, and put in the slice of lemon. Let the mixture stand for 5 minutes so the flavors can mingle, then sprinkle with a pinch of nutmeg before serving.

Spork and Elliot are just bit young for that.

Well, we’re not sure about Spork.

OK, I think everybody here has been hittin’ the toddies……

I need one too… just to try to catch up, and maybe understand some of these posts.

    First… I must be hallucinating…..

    cos I thought I saw Tony…

Honestly, I could swear it was him…..

and he didn’t ask his question, but he called us fishes….

or he called our wises fishes….

    or something….

And Tigressy knows how old Spork is…

    did we see that before?

And then Dani says her father gave her booze, as a child….

and then made her drive fast!

    Yikes!

So I must be on the wrong side of the looking glass….

    or maybe, I need a hot toddy….

    Stat.

Maybe he should just stick with non-spiked mulled cider.

    @Tony:

If Peter knew, he’d never offer it to his son (a minor). And I’ll bet you all knew that I’m about to ask today’s…

    Second “Daddy’s Home” Question:

What’s your hot beverage? (Mine’s coffee or tea, in the A.M., cocoa in the P.M.)

    What is it? Nummy!

Hot toddys all around. The bar has opened early for the holidays.

JP In the am it’s definitely coffee 2 cups please. In the pm it’s coco, nighty night tea or this wonderful drink a friend showed me called hot wassel. It is apple cider, pineapple juice, rum or whiskey, honey and cinnamon. Not only does it taste good, but it makes the house smell wonderful.

1930s blonde bombshell Thelma Todd. Probably most seen today in the Marx Brothers’ “Monkey Business” and “Horsefeathers.”
