Nice to see the colorist found his crayons by the last panel.

    What do you borrow?

A pen to write or sign a document if I don’t have it at hand already, some knickknacks for the computer from my husband (and vice-versa), a bag from a friend or our fruit-and-vegetable-and-Asian-groceries monger, a book,…, a piece of paper, a tissue,…

But I return them right away – except for the latter ones.

It’s “may I”, not “Can I”, and the answer is No.

As I had to explain to a former friend, if you borrow something without asking and without the expectation of returning the item it is called STEALING. After too many times catching this “friend” taking my stuff without asking and knowing it wouldn’t be replaced. I started calling her thief and told her to get out of my life. My life is so much happier and cheaper now.

Miscreant, your former friend was literally your friend only because of what she could get from you. Good for you to have the backbone to stand up for yourself.
