let’s also replace “crying” with “getting angry”… also get rid of “no”

Let’s see who cries when I take the cost of that window out of your allowance.

Tony’s question for today’s strip is the same as yesterday’s….

    “Do you?”

But I guess it applies to either one…

And yeah, sure…. I believe it’s useless to cry over spilled milk….

if you’re discussing the chances of my tears reversing the spill.

No matter how much that milk cost or how much I needed it,

I know it won’t be sucked back into the glass, just because I cry….

But that’s just addressing the impossibility of getting the milk back….

And I suppose it could apply to the chances of tears making the window whole again too.

You see, kiddo….. it doesn’t say anything,

in either scenario, to preclude your being punished for your carelessness and irresponsibility….

I’m an adult; I cry over spilt coffee.

I’m not saying “I do”. The time I did it got me in a terrible mess!

    (not really)

I used to cry, but now I just cuss. Both have equal effect.

No, I don’t drink milk. But I do drink beer. I get very upset when I spill beer.

    @Tony:

I never spill milk, so that question is moot…but I hope that this won’t be moot, it’s today’s…

    Second "Daddy’s Home Question:

    Replace “milk” with what?

As I’ve gotten older I don’t cry over “spilled milk”. Material things can be replaced. There are more important things to cry over.

I’m more interested in how the window got broken to begin with.

I guess it depends on where I’ve spilt the milk. If it’s on the floor then no but if it’s on my laptop then yeah maybe.
