I’m probably old enough to be Peter’s mother,
and my parents were always telling me “Go outside… it’s a nice day.”
It wasn’t TV or computers back then… it was library books..
Sometimes I’d sneak one outside with me, and just find someplace else to sit and read.
But a generation before me…. I think parents didn’t say that so much.
Big families meant lots of chores, and working at them was considered better for children than “idling.”
My mother’s mother probably said things like “It’s a sunny day… stop reading and hang out the laundry.”
Meanwhile…. Tony’s question is…
“Do you want to talk about it?”
I always want to talk about it, Tony.
Can’t you tell?
Hey…. you don’t suppose that’s why this place has been so empty lately?
Gosh.
Come back, everybody….
Well, mostly.
