    Tony’s QOD

    What? $300?

Only if the rehearsal dinner is at Micky D’s.

    Don’t you worry – she’d elope anyways.

$300? Hubby and I paid more than that just for the officiant at our wedding. Mind you, we were able to do the whole affair for under $2000. Kept everything simple, as it was 3rd time around for both.

My niece’s family paid over $100,000 for hers.

You’re assuming Elliot’s getting married and becoming a permanent resident.

And Tony, not sure if you have a daughter, but it you do you better hope she elopes.

When our eldest got married in 1983 we gave her $2,000 and told her the rest was her responsibility. I baked her cake, and my dad officiated.

I never had a big wedding, we went to the JP but I remember my sister’s wedding. It cost $500.00 and there was a live band and free bar. How much is that today?

Married in my brother’s yard; the venue cost me helping him paint the back wall. Potted plants on the fenceposts from one of my mom’s friends. Potluck by my folks’ church-lady friends. Dress – $75. Rings – $15 per. Suit – already had it. Music - college buddy on guitar. Bouquet – picked by my niece in the filed next to the house.

And that, my friends, is how you do it.

What you save on the wedding, you’ll spend on car insurance when he starts driving.

    I’ve just sent a mail to moderator@gocomics.com

    *Topic: New schedule?

Have you changed the schedule for updating the daily comics? Unannounced? Why – and when do you update now?

It’s not easy to find a forum-place for public discussion since it keeps moving – not nice at all! And your checking it only every fortnight? Hopefully, that changed for the better.

Bruno Zeigerts is still banned; I just checked his profile – He tried to post a comment 11 days ago.http://www.gocomics.com/profile/2432948Still no reaction, explanation or answer to my mails from your side.

Regards, Tigressy – Free Bruno Zeigertshttp://www.gocomics.com/profile/2937229*

Regarding the moving forum/blog: http://www.gocomics.com/news/whats-happening/4438/new-blog-1516891371 – I followed their “Breaking News!”-link; just scroll all the way down there.
