He are a bad man.

The husbands of a couple of my wife’s friends tried this. They sure were surprised when their wives filed for divorce.*

Avoiding work isn’t failing.

Won’t work for me, I live alone. But procrastination does.

Actually, I know a couple the reverse of this. He’s kind of exacting and she (purposely, I’m sure) never loads the dishwasher or the washing machine quite right. Consequently, he does all the dishes and laundry.

Pledge? OK Peter, now you’re being obvious.

My father-in-law did the same and advised my husband to follow his example. Fortunately, he hasn’t (almost 48 years and counting).

We just seem dumb to our wives……
