Horace: So I was speed reading this book, it was about time travel. When I hit 88 pages an hour, the book disappeared.
Written by Dr. Emmett, I presume.
I hate it when those books leave scorch marks…
Speed reading should be more like 500 pages per hour. And then disappear because the book has already gone back to the library.
Maybe instead of disappearing, it became an e-book, and is now waiting for Horace on the tablet or Kindle of his choice?
It went “Book To The Future” !
Wow! Glad it wasn’t the reader that disappeared, Horace.
Don’t worry, Horace — you can find out what happened by reading books II and III.
It’ll be back sometime soon…
He lost connection at 88 pph, but kept on seeing letters, words and turning the pages…
