I especially enjoy such interruptions when deep in complex computer coding.
Boss: “Hey how’s that coding project coming along?”
Me: * blink blink *… well until now it was coming along fine, but the huge train of thought that formed its foundation just derailed and plunged into an abyss. Anything else I can do for you today?"
This is why coders and techs hole themselves up in little rooms and lose touch with humanity and forget how to speak plain English. Honest.
