Interesting grammatical issue. Half construes with a plural verb or anaphor when the moiety is made up of countable things, Half a pound of butter is more than enough. . . . but Half a dozen eggs are enough if they’re “large”. . .
Time to find a sixth dentist?
Half of them 5? One dentist drilled himself in 2 pieces and that upper piece recommended?
Why dentists?
They all only halfway recommend it.
