Ein bier bitter

A friend told me he once ate at a Chinese/German restaurant … said it was ok, but an hour later he wanted to conquer the world …!

“The Braten was Sauer and they got Wiener in my Schnitzel…”

I love knowing a smattering of languages. I understood actor say I don’t know in Romanian because it sounded like Bulgarian. I lived in Bulgaria for two years but only picked up a bit because I worked with English speakers all day. I don’t know came in handy.

Was it the Schnitzel?

I had a boyfriend who loved German food. One of his friends told him that there was a very German-looking (in architecture) building downtown that was a German restaurant. When they drove over there, it turned out to be a funeral home! (I wasn’t there, but I don’t think they stayed for lunch, lol).
